Fish Market Square
Originally it was to be found outside the city walls, it is found on the outer side of Porta Felice facing a widened part of the beach. This gateway to the city was also called “Boceria” (boucherie in French) because it faced a small building were animals were butchered. Its arched portico design dates back to 1874 and I the work of Giovan Battista Talotti. In the middle of the square there is a fountain of Venus in the waves.
