S. Lorenzo Cathedral
Built in 1102 as a chapel, and enlarged in the fifteenth century. It was dedicated to Saint Lawrence and in 1639 it was completely renovated by the architect Bonaventura Certo according to his plans.
In 1743, the architect Giovan Biagio Amico realized the present façade with a porticated pronaos, bell tower, dome, lateral apsidal chapels and the choir. It was consecrated in 1844. The interior is decorated with frescos and Neoclassic plaster. The fourth chapel on the right is remarkable for its painting representing the crucifixion of Christ by A. Van Dyck.
